Headteacher’s welcome

Ilderton Primary School is an exciting, ambitious and successful primary school. Our aim is to provide all children with the best possible learning opportunities in order to develop into confident, independent and questioning individuals. Our staff are highly committed and motivated and we set high expectations of ourselves and our pupils. Our curriculum is engaging and exciting. We encourage all members of our school community to be life long learners. Our aim is to encourage all children to achieve above and beyond their potential. Our school has a calm, warm and friendly feel. We pride ourselves on the excellent learning behaviours demonstrated by our children as well as their impeccable manners and respectful attitude to all. Everyone here is valued and we support children to be good citizens, understanding their own nationality and culture as well as valuing and understanding diversity in the world we live in.

We are proud of Ilderton’s academic success in ensuring children make excellent progress and achieve attainment above the national average. We are also proud of the fact that children leave Ilderton Primary School well rounded, confident individuals, prepared for the next stage of their academic life.
